Hello Old Blotchy. Thanks for your centuries of love and protection, your strength, your grandeur. Amalie and Dan: we met on your Wedding Day, alongside that big ol’ tree. It felt like we’d all been there for a long long time together - the circles of growth clearly evident. Old Blotchy, you guys, your friends and family, all of us, resonating in ways that transcend concepts and words. It was and it is super special. Thanks again!
Cryptic metaphors aside, I mentioned that this was one of the most beautiful Wedding Ceremonies I’ve had the fortune to be a part of. Sometimes I do say things like this, caught up in the emotion of it all - as valid as it is - occasionally I shift back to neutral, and realise maybe my words and feelings didn’t necessarily take into account the realms beyond my emotive experience. This isn’t the case for Dan and Marlie. The realms meant so much more than just heightened sensations. The humanity was pure and authentic. The envelope of massive untouched nature was inspiring and powerful. The love and intentions were bottomless. I’m still celebrating in it all.
And there were laughs, and quiet moments. A really intimate gathering at St Isadore in Milton, for a feast of incredible tasting food. There was the warm layer of leaves beneath bare feet and a Southerly change and cloud show framing endless horizons.
With gratitude and love in spades I send eternal best wishes to my lovely new friends Marlie and Dan.
